Order Cancellation, Returns and Refund Policies
Order Cancellation
We reserve the right to cancel any accepted order before shipment for reasons such as supply issues, unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, system failures), or errors on our website. In such cases, you will receive a full refund. However, The Keeper's Hive is not liable for any losses resulting from the cancellation.

After Shipping
Cancellations after shipment may be eligible for a return only if:- You contact us within 14 days of receipt.
- The goods remain unopened, in their original condition, and meet all return criteria.
Approved returns incur a 20% restocking fee, and shipping costs are non-refundable. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer.
Returns
Incorrect Goods
Notify us within 7 days of receiving incorrect items. Provide relevant photos if requested. We will guide you on the next steps, which may include a return, replacement, or refund.
Damaged or Defective Goods
Notify us within 7 days, including detailed photos of the defect or damage. Depending on the issue, we may offer a repair, replacement, or refund.
For approved returns, items must be returned within 30 days of delivery, following the “Process for Returning Goods.”
Return to Sender (RTS), Refused, or Missing Deliveries
For incomplete or incorrect shipping addresses or refused deliveries:
Up to a 15% restocking fee or redelivery charges may apply.
Disputes regarding delivery must be resolved directly with the freight provider.
Used or Opened Items
Due to strict biosecurity laws, we cannot accept returns of opened or used beekeeping equipment or related items.
Process for Returning Goods
To return goods, you must:
- Contact us to determine return eligibility.
- Provide proof of purchase.
- Follow return instructions, including using supplied shipping labels and referencing the RMA (Return Material Authorization) number in all communications.
- Ship approved returns within 14 days to the provided address, including tracking details.
Warranties & Liability
Our Warranty
Goods are new, of merchantable quality, fit for purpose, and conform to website specifications.
Warranty Period:
- 30 days for defects limiting performance.
- 12 months for latent defects.
Warranty covers parts replacement only, not labor or consequential damages.
Exclusions
Warranty does not cover damage due to:
- Improper use, installation, or storage.
- Wear and tear, weather events, negligence, or delays in reporting defects.
Your Obligations
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Use goods responsibly, acquiring necessary beekeeping skills or training.
- Liability for harm or damage resulting from improper use is yours.
Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to repair, replacement, or refund, per our election.
For product liability claims, coverage is limited to $5 million per event or series of events.
